In May 2024, the Iron Horse Arts District held its first photography contest with theme “Embrace Your Space”.

Phelps County is home to a wide variety of natural beauty, rich agricultural lands, and vibrant communities. We’re looking for images that show what makes Phelps County special to you. Whether you are a novice or professional, all are invited to share photos that Embrace Your Space and celebrate what you find beautiful and worthy of celebration in Phelps County!

Eight winners were selected based on the number of votes each received from the public. The winning photos were then printed in large format and displayed on the Phelps County Courthouse lawn for the month of September 2024.
